The Scandinavian Institute for Policy Studies (heerafter SCIPS) was founded with the purpose of contributing to sustainable development, enhancing quality of life and building successful society.
Since 2011, the SCIPS has acquired the status for inviting international visiting scholars approved by the Swedish Research Council.
The focus of activities touches upon addressing conditions for sustainable development, enhancing quality of life and building successful society. Globalization, global warming and migration have changed conditions of development in established industries and, more harshly, in developing countries. One of issues in the research activities is the Swedish and Nordic Model. The Nordic countries have undergone unique experiences in building democracy with low level of corruption, welfare state and market economy.
The SCIPS invites visiting researchers, political aspirants and diverse leaders to Stockholm who aims for acquiring experiences and enriching knowledge in Scandinavian studies.
